Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc Nu Epsilon Chapter
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is an international service organization founded on the campus of Howard University on January 15, 1908. It is the oldest Greek-lettered organization established by black, college-educated women.
The Nu Epsilon Chapter was chartered on the campus of Christopher Newport University on January 3, 1980 by twelve distinguished young women. These women left an 81-year-old legacy of greatness behind them that has continued to flourish. The members of Nu Epsilon are known for their selfless service to the community, outstanding academic achievements, and the ability to uplift other college women to their God given potential. Nu Epsilon has been recognized for numerous accomplishments on campus that include consecutively maintaining the highest GPA amongst all Greek-lettered organizations, introducing the most innovative and creative programs within the Mid-Atlantic Region, and building a bond of sisterhood that will last throughout the lifetime of each current and future member.
Nu Epsilon will continue to aspire to excellence in the many years to come.
